Position overview
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is seeking a dynamic part-time Associate to join its Communications Department, focusing on digital media. Based in Warsaw, this role will support EBRD’s communications efforts across multiple regions.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in digital communications, content creation, and , along with experience working across various media channels. While fluency in Ukrainian is a bonus, proficiency in English and another regional language is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and execute digital communication initiatives across multiple platforms, including social media, corporate websites, video, audio especially with focus on Poland and Ukraine.
- Develop engaging content that highlights EBRD’s projects, achievements, and impact.
- Implement and adapt communications strategies for regional audiences, ensuring consistency with EBRD’s global messaging.
- Monitor and analyse social media to safeguard EBRD’s reputation.
- Understanding of social media analytics and ability to work with social media analytics platforms, such as Emplify
- Collaborate with teams across EBRD’s regions to ensure timely and effective content delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in digital communications, digital channels management or content creation
- Strong writing and editing skills in English; proficiency in Ukrainian language is a plus.
- Familiarity with content management systems, audience analytics, and multimedia production.
- Ability to navigate complex, multinational environments and work independently with tight deadlines.
- Results-driven mindset with strong organisational and project management skills.
- Experience in international development, donor communications, or multilateral organisations.
- Basic skills in video editing, graphic design, or social media analytics.
- Fluency in Ukrainian would be an advantage.
