Energy Efficiency Jobs

The EBRD has been addressing energy efficiency and climate change through projects in renewable energy and adaptation since 2006.

The Bank now invests in sustainable energy through its Green Economy Transition (GET) approach and has developed a unique business model for this purpose. The GET approach broadens the environmental dimension of our projects and emphasises innovation.

With projects that combine investment with technical assistance and policy dialogue, the roles in this department and the skills required are diverse, ranging from engineering to product development and sustainable energy financing.

Building on a decade of successful green investment, the GET approach seeks to increase the volume of green financing from an average of 24 per cent of EBRD annual business investment in the 10 years up to 2016 to 40 per cent by 2020, making it an exciting time to be joining the team.
